Too often, we hear of incidents that occur at the workplace which affects the eyes. It usually results in serious eye injuries which could lead to permanent blindness.

This is usually due to persons not wearing the correct protective eye wear due to it not being "sexy" enough, none being available, persons refusing to wear them and other reasons. Whatever the reason may be, it is imperative that correct protective eye wear be worn at all times depending on the type of work done. Whether it is hammering a nail, cutting grass or metalwork, protecting the eye is the best thing you can do. You and your eyes will be happy.

Read the document that is attached here (composed by Dr. Nisbett) for more details on "Eye Injuries At The Workplace".
