Breaking Bad Habits

I bet you did not know that there is such a thing as good reading position just as there is a good seating position as in good posture?

  • Blurry Vision

  • Decreased reading enjoyment

  • Decreased reading time

  • Neck strain

  • Headaches

Most of us have a tendency of reading, writing or even using our phones or tablets at a very close distance. As the old saying goes, “Old habits are hard to break”. In this case, breaking this “bad” habit helps your eyes. How you may ask?

Have you ever been reading or on your phone or tablet then happen to look up at something in the distance and it’s all blurry? This can be a result of Accommodative Spasm.

Practicing to read or write at an accurate distance can help alleviate the effects of Accommodative Spasm. Click here for more information.
