Tears Are Not Always Harmless or Emotional !

As you look at your baby, for those of you who have had children: you wonder why he/she is tearing. Is he/she unhappy, wet or is something else wrong?
Tearing or watering is commonly seen in infants that is often accompanied by a discharge or what we call colloquially"sleep" .
While the causes vary one major reason is a blocked nasolacrimal duct. Though it may seem harmless at first it may later develop into a condition called Dacryocystitis where the sac becomes infected.
Treatment generally involves doing massages carefully done with instructions and antibiotics drops.
